I saw this tip in the Jan/Feb 2010 issue of the Marine Fabricator. It’s a handy trick for storing your zipper chain rolls. Most of us struggle with keeping a roll of zipper not only clean, but untangled. This tip will help.
All you need is an 18-quart tote, with a 1″ hole drilled in the top from a hole saw. Simply put the roll in the tote, remove the cardboard sleeve and feed the zipper (from inside the roll) thru the hole. The tote’s are easily labeled with a magic marker for quick identification.
Your zipper is now clean & untangled!
